The Committee of Experts

A committee of scientific (CES), legal and political experts ensures the quality of the documents put together by the NGO le Cercle Polaire. The CES brings together representatives of the multiple specialities devoted to the reflection of the future and the evolution of the Polar Regions. Two scientific cultures are represented: environmental sciences and human sciences. Documents published by the members of the CES include lectures and articles. Contributions by external specialists are subject to vetting by CES members. The members of the CES take part in study groups set up every year by the NGO le Cercle Polaire to provide reports and prepare proposals for new regulations.
