Longtemps protégés par leur éloignement géographique et leur bouclier de glace, les pôles sont aujourd'hui sévèrement affectés par le réchauffement climatique et progressivement gagnés par la mondialisation. Une nouvelle page de l'histoire est en train de s'écrire et le sort de ces régions uniques dépendra pour beaucoup du capital de sympathie et de soutien qu'elles auront recueilli auprès des opinions publiques et des politiques du monde entier.
Rejoignez les 200 personnalités de l'Appel des Pôles en envoyant une ou deux photos de vous dans les glaces, une biographie de 90 mots et un texte de 300 mots au maximum présentant votre appréciation personnelle d'un point de préoccupation relatif à l'Arctique ou à l'Antarctique (par exemple : les revendications de souveraineté des Inuit, l'ouverture de nouvelles routes maritimes dans l'océan Arctique, la massification du tourisme en péninsule Antarctique, la sauvegarde de l'ours polaire ...). Votre nom sera ajouté dans la liste des signataires ci-dessous.
