Per Stig Møller has been Denmark’s Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2001. He is dedicated to promoting a sustainable and peaceful development in the Arctic. He initiated the Arctic Ocean Conference in May 2008 at Ilulissat which included the ministers from the Arctic coastal states. Per Stig Møller has been a member of the Danish Parliament for the Conservative Party since 1984 and is the author of several books on history and literature.
